Q: What
is a Inn?
A:
An Inn is a lodging establishment
in-between a Bed & Breakfast and a
hotel. It has a slightly different
feel than just staying at a hotel.
An Inn usually has most of the same
in-room amenities as a hotel. An
Inn is usually bigger than a Bed &
Breakfast and smaller than a hotel.

Q: Will I feel like I am staying in
someone's home?
A: No, it has a comfortable feel,
but the Inn is for overnight guests, the
owners do not live in the Inn.

Q: Are children allowed?
A: In most cases yes for ages
seven (7) and up as long as they are
well supervised. In some cases children
younger than seven are allowed. Please
understand that during the week most
people are here on business, and on the
weekends our guests are here for a
relaxing weekend.

Q: Are the rooms cleaned daily?
A: Yes we have a housekeeping
staff that lightly cleans the rooms
daily.

Q: Should we leave a tip for the
housekeeping staff at the end of our stay?
A: The staff always appreciates a
tip, but it is not required.
6. Q: Do your rooms have private en
suite bathrooms?
A: Yes,
all rooms have a private bath in the
room, except for the Paris room which
has a private bath across the hall.

Q: Do you have a shuttle service?
A: Sorry we do not. You can
use Yellow Cab Taxi or Metro Bus Line.

Q: Do you allow pets?
A: We love animals, but cannot
allow animals in the Inn out of respect
for others that have allergies, and
because of pet hair, exterminating
costs, etc.

allowed?
A: Yes, we make arrangements for
early and late check-ins, please
inquire.

Q: Do you serve a full breakfast?
A: We set out a Continental Plus
breakfast Monday thru Friday, although
Jeanie will always make eggs for guests
that request them. Full breakfast
available on Saturday and Sunday
mornings.

the same table as everyone else?
A:
No, we have five tables in the dining
area and you choose where you would like
to sit.

I invite others to breakfast?
A: Yes, for a fee with prior
arrangements.

Inn?
A:
No, the Innkeepers live on site, but not
in the Inn.

A: Yes.

A:
Yes, guests are provided with a key to
their room and to the front door.

Yes. Your computer must have a
wireless card. We have a guest
computer on site.

A: Sorry, we are not. There
are several steps to get inside the Inn,
and two steps down to get into the
Garden Room.

A:
Downtown - 3.5 miles; Museum District -
4 miles; Galleria - 7 miles; Medical
Center - 4 miles; Reliant Arena - 7
miles.

Is this a good place for someone to stay
that expects 24/7 concierge service?
A: Probably not, we are happy to
assist and visit with guests, but we are
not available 24/7. We
always request that the guests call us
if they need anything and we are happy
to oblige.

on-site?

Houston has some of the finest
restaurants within 1-7 miles, but we do
not have one onsite.

restaurants that will deliver to the
Inn?
A: Yes

A: Sorry, no we do not. Sure
wish we did for our hot summers.

24/7?
A: No, the Inn is
semi-monitored. We are available for
guests on an as needed basis. We are
always accessible by phone, but not
always at the Inn, although we do live
on site in the guest quarters.

business traveler?
A: Absolutely, we host numerous
business travelers every week, and they
love it.

rooms?

Yes

the rooms?
A: We have an on demand coffee
system available 24/7 in our main
breakfast room, but we do not have
individual coffee makers in the rooms.

space?
A: Yes, for a preset fee.

Yes, smoking is only allowed outside or
on balconies.

the weekends?
A: Not always. Even if the
online availability shows a 2-night
minimum, please call in case we have a
one night opening in a room..

onsite?
A: We have an eliptical machine
and Bio Force for guest use. There is a
3-mile walking/jogging trail directly in
front of the Inn, and a fabulous area
called Memorial Park within 2 miles.
Anytime Fitness is within a few blocks.
There are several fitness facilities
within a few miles, such as FIT, YMCA,
24 Hour Fitness, Curves and more.

computer for guest use?
A: Yes, we have one
in the common area for guest use.

A: Yes, we can accommodate up to
75 people.
33. Q: Is it recommended that I rent a
car for my visit to Houston?
A: Absolutely. Houston is a big
city. We can arrange to have a rental
car company pick you up at the Inn and
take you to the rental car location.

Q: Is Sara's centrally located?
A: We are located in central
Houston and typically are only a few
miles to all the major attractions.

airports?
A: Approximately 18-22 miles
from both airports.

from the airport?
A: The fair is regulated and
should be no more than $40.00. Call

Q: Why should I stay at an Inn
versus a big hotel?
A: An Inn is typically more
comfortable, friendlier, more economical
with free parking, free breakfast, and
free phone service. Also, as a small
family owned business, we appreciate our
guests and our goal is to have them
return time and time again.. We have a
high percentage rate of return guests.
We are grateful for all the guests who
choose to stay here, it is what keeps us
in business. We are constantly updating
the Inn to keep it fresh and appealing
for new and return guests.

Q: Is a Bed & Breakfast Inn for
everyone?
A: Most everyone, but not all.
Some people have the impression that all
BnB's are in someone's home, and that
the bath is not in the room. At Sara's
all of our rooms have private ensuite
baths, all doors are self locking (AAA
standards), have TV's, wireless DSL, and
offer complete privacy for our guests.
The owners do not live in the Inn,
although they do live on site. If you
are not sure a BnB is for you or your
guests, call us and we will gladly give
you a quick tour.

Q: How long has Sara's been in
business?
A: 24 years; opened in 1986 by
the Arledge's then purchased by their
daughter and her husband, Connie and Bob
McCreight.
